Sports Ministry

This role of sports ministry is committed to establishing networks of house churches in a high-persecution contexts. 

Responsibilities: 

•  Work alongside a team of people sharing their faith with locals 
• Use expertise in sports, nutrition, and exercise to build local relationships 
• Spend many hours per week learning language, culture, and best-practice for ministry 
• Develop local friendships 
• Spend many evenings talking, laughing, and drinking tea with local friends and team 
• Encourage and disciple new believers as they learn to walk with Jesus 

Qualifications:   

• Experience as a teacher or coach 
• Strong friendship-building skills 
• No ministry experience necessary (we will train you!) 
• Willing to start new things, to rally a neighborhood to come play soccer, etc. 
• Humble learner: willingness to learn Arabic, history and culture 
• Deep love for people and a broken heart for the lost
