Short-Term Teams Coordinator and Disciplemaker

Santiago, Chile is a strategic mission field in Latin America, serving as a ministry gateway to some of the most secular areas of Latin America—including Chile, Uruguay and southern Brazil. Even though the church is very present, there is a great need to reach the professional and university world. ReachGlobal's Latin America/Caribbean Division has developed healthy local partnerships with the national church. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about evangelism, discipleship, and helping to recruit and to coordinate short-term ministry teams. By coming alongside and supporting the local church in Santiago, we envision planting churches that reach the thriving, young professional population and university students.

Responsibilities 

  • Work alongside the local church to reach university students and young professionals. 
  • Be willing to learn the Spanish language, culture and best practices for local ministry context. 
  • Develop local friendships and plug into the local church.
  • Evangelize and disciple young professionals and university students. 
  • Encourage and disciple new believers as they learn to walk with Jesus.
  • Recruit and coordinate short-term ministry teams to Santiago.

Qualifications

  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Humble learner.
  • Bible college and/or ability to undergo licensing with the EFCA.
  • Active in evangelism.
  • A heart for transformational discipleship.
  • A deep love for people and a broken heart for the lost. 
  • Experience serving on a short-term team.
